This is the email that I received… below
You won’t find me with all the other dogs at the East Valley Shelter. I’m inside, in the back where it’s quieter. Each dog here gets to be alone. And that’s good, I like it this way. Hopefully no one will want to visit me. Most people just pass my cage anyway. They are looking at the friendlier dogs. I’m hurt, and scared… and I don’t want to see strange faces looking in at me. Please don’t come near me. I don’t want people near me.
My family brought me here the other day. I don’t know why. I tried to be good, and I loved them. But something happened to me. I don’t quite remember it. I don’t want to. All I know is my face hurts and something hurt it very badly. Maybe another dog, a person, an accident…. I’m not sure anymore. I just want to stay here in the back and hide. Hopefully no one will hurt me anymore.
Mom…. dad….. if you are out there please come get me…. I will try to do whatever I can to make you happy with me…
