Podcast #6 - No Biting Allowed!
In my opinion.. a dog should NEVER bite.. That old adage that ”the dog bite the child because he touched the dog while it was eating” doesn’t cut it.
If you are starting with a puppy, this is an easy fix.. Get you hands in the dish with the food as you feed.. Do some hand feeding.. If your hand and fingers are in their mouth with the food, they will not easily be able to bite.
With an older dog that is already growling and biting, it may be more difficult.. Be an “alpha dog” and you will be able to correct the problem.. Listen to the podcast for me details..
